Using advanced AI models like Gemini Omni and Veo, the team transformed archival descriptions into a high-fidelity visual experience. This project serves as a tribute to Pelé’s legacy ahead of the first World Cup without him, and is now on display at the Museu Pelé in Brazil.

On August 2, 1959, during a match against C.A. Juventus, Pelé scored what many witnesses and experts considered the most beautiful goal of his career. He executed three consecutive “sombreros” without the ball touching the ground, finishing with a header. For decades, the moment remained unrecorded, existing only in eyewitness accounts and archival print media.
Collaborative Preservation
The initiative was developed in partnership with the official managers of the Pelé estate to preserve his sporting legacy. The collaboration included historians, journalists, football legends, and Pelé’s family.
